After thirty seven years in academia, I retired as a Distinguished Professor Emeritus (Finance) from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. I taught courses in corporate finance, published articles, and, following my retirement, I co-authored a book in investment banking. Outside finance, I was always interested in learning the history of ideas, culture, and scientific thought. I was educated in Greece and Pennsylvania (USA).
